What is coaching?

The keys to living well are good relationships, physical and spiritual well-being, and a sense of purpose and accomplishment. A Coach works closely with clients to discover more about who they really are and what matters to them. This new knowledge allows clients to create a clearer vision of what they want in their “future self” and how to get there.
Our discovery session would be a 2 hour meeting, done virtually or by telephone, to set a solid foundation for our future coaching. After that, our coaching takes place by telephone 2 or 3 times per month for a 30 to 60 minute intensive session. You choose the length and frequency of sessions depending on your needs. Between sessions, our relationship is maintained by voice-mail and email follow-up.
Our goal is to create profound and lasting changes in your life, so that you can become more focused at home, at work, and more fully engaged in a life of meaning and balance.

Here we go:
First, we do an assessment together of where you are at. This means in both health and fitness, and the habits that keep you there. Putting yourself down is not allowed. Next, we develop a vision of where you want to be, based on what is important to you. We set reachable goals and a realistic plan of how you will get there. And, yes, you will get there! We prepare a plan for the next 3 months, and we talk about it together each week. It’s a team effort. We have fun and learn a lot about what is important to you. We learn what works for you and what doesn’t, and we make sure that we are on a path to success.
